2. David Letterman and Stephanie Birkitt: The late night leader typically delivers laughs, but his recent affair was no laughing matter. This fall Letterman found himself at the center of an extortion plot with a former CBS employee. They claimed that Letterman had sexual relations with several of his younger, female staff members, even though he had been romancing his now wife for over 20 years.
